Virtual PC Center (VPCC): a better PC for your enterprise.
 The Virtual PC Center (VPCC) is NEC’s fully integrated virtualization offer for fixed or mobile PCs. Each Virtual PC Server is powered by VMware® Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) client sessions and managed through the NEC SigmaSystemCenter™ virtual PC management software tools. All NEC VPCC servers are open configurations allowing customers full access to all the features of VMware® VDI and SigmaSystemCenter, as well as the ability to integrate third-party solutions. This solution allows IT administrators to manage their infrastructure in a centralized and simplified way.
Deployment, monitoring, administration, remote deployment and proactive maintenance deliver high class security and reliability. The virtual PC integrates a complete Operating System with user’s applications and data. The users can thus reach their IT business environment (specific applications, personal data) and telephone environment (personal numbers, voicemail). The NEC VPCC solution supports NAS, SAN and Fault Tolerant architectures which guarantee an optimized business continuity.
The main benefits for the NEC VPCC: • Maximized data security thanks to applications and data centralization on servers and no possible local storage on the workstation. • A level of performance equal to a PC equipped with the latest technologies (video, sound, USB devices, etc.). • Personal environment ubiquity (computing and telephony): users can access to their applications, data, and mailbox but also to their personal phone number, address book, voice mail, etc. irrespective of which terminal they are working from.
