The PASOLINK Network Management System, SuperGuard+ provides easy-to-use monitoring, control, configuration and management of PASOLINK family radio networks.

ii. Mobile Terminal PASOLINK Network Management Terminal

NEC's PASOLINK Network Management Terminal enables local/remote equipment maintenance via a mobile terminal, such as a laptop PC. The SuperGuard+ LCT can be connected to any PASOLINK family network element from any location in the network. The selected network element can then be monitored and controlled in the same Graphical User Interface as in the central computer version.

B. SuperGuard+ GLCT (Graphical Local Craft Terminal)

Features:

a) Status Monitor and Control

The software can be connected to any PASOLINK equipment trough PPP or LAN. GLCT monitors and controls the connected network elements together with its opposite side of the link in a fashion similar to that in the central site GUI.

b) Remote Control

The GLCT provides remote control of various links related parameters such as transmission power and frequency allocation.

c) Event Logging

Events stored in the PM CARD can be up-loaded, and saved. Up to 300 event logs are displayed.

d) Performance Monitoring

The GLCT displays the performance data stored in the network elements at both ends of the selected link. Two types of data files are displayed, one is a 15-minute data file of the past 15 minutes and the other is a daily data file of the past 7 days.

Users are registered by means of a login name and password.
